[결산] 2022년에는 무엇을 했는가?
즐겁기도, 두렵기도 한 결산 시간. 이렇다하고 적을 게 없으면 그것만큼 슬픈 일도 없다. 그래도 1년을 무탈하게, 여전히 살아 숨쉬면서 보낼 수 있음에 감사할 수도 있지만 사람 욕심이란. 1. 캐나다 워킹홀리데이 (진행 중) 살면서 해외에 일하며 살아볼 기회가 얼마나 되겠나. 그렇게 태평양을 넘어왔다. 주변 사람들 모두 좋겠다고, 부럽다고 하지만 꼭 그렇지만은 않다. 한국인에게 남들과 다른 길을 걷는 일은 불안감을 야기한다. 친구들은 하나 둘 번듯한 기업에 취직하고 있고, 각자 갈 길 찾아서 대학원도 간다. 하지만 나는 여기서 외국인 신분으로 아직도 모험하고 있다. 좋게 말해 모험이지, 방황과 다를 바 없다. 특히 최근 들어 향수가 조금씩 도진다. 아무래도 연말이라 그렇겠지. 캐나다에 대한 얘기는 브런치..
